A friend of ours, Gilead R., came & spent the weekend with us.
On friday he helped me clean pretty much the entire house before we moved in. He was a HUGE help, considering Chris was not able to help bc he had to work!
Sat was moving day! We had my dad, cousin, daniel s, gilead r, aunt janinne & uncle rj help us move! My mom watched bud & his younger cousin for us! Which...was a HUGE help!!! With all the strong men's help we were quickly able to pack up the uhaul truck & head on over to our new house! It was a fun, exciting, sad, tiring day!
I almost got a little emotional when I saw Chris & Uncle RJ driving away from our apartment heading to our new house! But, became very exciting when Aunt Janinne & I headed to our new home!
After everything was into our new house. We decided to go do some shopping. We went to costco, ashley's furniture, sportsman warehouse, sears, jcp, macy, lowes, back to ashley's furniture then to target! Phhew!!!!
I think Gilead was having some fun shopping because he knows he will eventually get to use all the tools we bought ;) We were able to find some curtains, lamps, a ton of lawn tools and a new washer & dryer. We went to lowes because we can get special discounts there =) I for see a lot of trips to lowes. My cousin works at lowes & is Very knowledgeable. They make their employees take classes on ALL sorts of things! wayyy coool!
We went to bed on saturday night sometime After 3 (BEFORE we changed our clocks Forward)!! YIKES! We had about 3 hours of sleep before we had to get up for church!
Sunday afternoon we went to Arnolds Furniture store & Great American Furniture. We found a living room set at Great American Furniture for an Awesome Deal! Yeah...next time we will be going to Great American Furniture FIRST. We recommend You Do too!!! The best part is....they are able to deliver it THIS week! Unlike other places where it would take WEEKS.
Monday was a day of unpacking the new house for me. Chris & Gilead cleaned the apartment & turned in our keys. They also went to get a few other things we needed for the house! We also had our washer & dryer delivered! They are front loading Samsungs!
Our house is slowing starting to feel like a home as more & more boxes are getting unpacked.
Bud is surprisingly doing well at this adjustment. He loves the house..and his room! He slept through the night the first night. He actually grabbed his blanket & went & got into his bed on his own & fell a sleep!
