9 Months!

Our Beautiful Rhiannon Renée is 9 Months Old Today!

Yes, I did skip the 8 month post (bad mommy)--(writing this mostly for my memory)!

I need to call to set up her 9 month check up, I imagine it will be later this week or early next. I no longer have my car so Chris will have to take us & his schedule has pretty unpredictable! A few weeks ago it was 12+ hours a day, last week was a "normal furlough" shift and this week has been Both!

Rhiannon has two more teeth coming in! She loves food! Her smile is beautiful! Lights up her entire face!  She is in 9 month clothing & 12 month dresses! She has finally moved up to Size 1 shoes! She has small feet!

She is a scooter! She has gotten up on her knees & rocks....It won't be long before she takes off actually crawling! I am constantly watching her because if something catches her attention she is gone! She also likes to....Live on the Edge. Literally. The stairs, the couches, the bed...everything. She has no fear!  Momma has fear though! haha!

It has been a little over a month...okay...more like 1 month & 3 weeks (YIKES)! I like to try & keep this blog updated for my own personal sake....remembering things! I am failing! So when I get to 2013 Scrapbook There will be a huge 2 month gap ;)

Well it has been a little crazy over here in the broxton household!

Lets see on fathers day we brought lunch to a beloved family! I made Salsa Chicken! Everyone seemed to really like it! for Dessert I made Cheesecake with Strawberry Topping!

Steak & Baked Potatoe-you slice the potatoe vertical wise but not all the way to the bottom , put butter between each slice, season, bake 400 for 45 minutes, add cheese & bacon pieces, cook until cheese is melted! Ohh...my! We will be making our potatoes like this for now on!

yep! thats my foot-the Left one too!  A glass fell off the microwave onto my foot!  That happened almost 2 weeks ago & I STILL have a nasty bruise & it is still a little sore!

Second attempt at decorating a cake. Result: disappointing. Realized I made my icing the wrong consistently! Chris says this is 400% better then the cakes I've decorated in the past!

Read Up at Bremerton parks Monday, July 8 Read Up is a program that provides a read aloud and a free book for every child between 0 and 8 years old. We are hoping to reach 681 children each week for 8 weeks. Bring your kids by! They will be partnering with the Playground Program who will be providing free lunch directly before the read aloud.

Where: Manette Park, Hadden Park, Blueberry Park, and Kiwanis Park
When: 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Program goes through Aug. 22
Who: Kids birth to age 8
How: Just show up. No registration is required.
Cost: FREE
