3rd NST

I had my 3rd NST today.
 
I was having some pretty hard contractions during the test.  Since, I was already in the office my doctor decided to see me today after my NST, since I had a doctors appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning.

Doctor was a little concerned about the NST we had today.  She gave us two options:

1) Come in to be induced tonight
2) Come in tomorrow for another NST & Biophysical ultrascan, and continue that EVERYDAY until baby is born.

My doctor does not like suggesting induction, but she said she thinks it is best option & strongly urged us for this option.  She would rather have a small baby outside of the womb then...not having a baby at all inside the womb (if you get my drift).

Baby dropped below 10% on growth she is concerned that baby is not growing because of growth restriction (me being small) or my placenta is not giving baby nutrients to grow & thrive properly inside the womb. (Or a mixture of both).

So, midnight tonight we will be heading in to begin induction process.  My doctor thinks this process will go fairly quickly since I am 3-4 cm dilated!  So, she is thinking Rhiannon Rene'e will arrive around 3 am!  Doctor also says she may have to spend time in the nursery as well.

So , that is the plan (IF I don't go sooner)? ;)

Please pray for safety & health of baby. And for me. I am SOO nervous! More nervous then what I was with bud! Maybe it is because I know what is coming in less then 12 hours!!!!!!! ;)

Guesses...?!?!

I did this when we were awaiting the arrival of Bud, so I thought it would be fun to do this again awaiting for Rhiannon's arrival!


SO...Guesses...what time/day do you think she will be born?!how much do you think she will weigh?!how long do you think she will be?!will she have hair?! If so, curly, strait?! what color?!what color will her eyes be?!who will she look like the most...mommy or daddy?!any other guesses or inputs you have--add it!!

2nd NST

Bud asked the lady who was monitoring the test if baby sister was going to be here today...silly boy.

They offered us juice, we said yes!

Chris was sure they were going to make us stay because I was choking on apple juice & messing the test up!

We passed our 2nd NST!

They set us free-for now!

Contractions are getting stronger, I'm beginning to feel & recognize them coming on!

*Our Next (3rd) NST will be on Tuesday!

1st NST

Literally was a last minute schedule, I had to quickly get myself ready to leave an hour after I got off the phone with my doctor.

Thankfully, Chris was home & got bud ready. To my surprise I was completely ready to go with a half an hour to spare!  So, I was able to make a protein smoothie to go since I didn't have 'breakfast'.

I'm also thankful that we live fairly close to our family.  Bud was able to go to my mother in law's!

I actually began typing up this post shortly after I took the first photo of the NST 'machine'.  Thinking I was....going to be 'done'.

Well, Rhiannon had a MAJOR Decli in her heart rate during a contraction.  So, My doctor sent me over to Labor & Delivery so they could watch me closely.  

I was there about an hour & a half.

We had to do a biophysical profile (BPP) which measures baby's heart rate, muscle tone, movement, breathing, and the amount of amniotic fluid.  Rhiannon Passed with Flying Colors! They could Not believe how active she was!!!!

Rhiannon changed position from yesterdays ultrasound, still head down but her face was up.  We were able to get a photo of her face (this was a first). Personally, I think these shots are scary but my mom, mil & aunt Loved seeing this shot & says she is going to be a beautiful baby.  

Rhiannon was blinking her eyes.  She also has CURLY hair! YES! We saw the little curls on the ultrasound! 

All I was thinking while in Labor in Delivery is I AM NOT READY FOR THIS BABY TO BE BORN!!!! AHHH!!!  Well, my doctor says she doesn't think we will be going past 38 weeks.  She is thinking she will be born closer to 37 weeks-THAT IS NEXT THURSDAY!!!!!!!

The doctor also doesn't think she will be over 4 1/2 lbs.  But, like I said in the previous post.  A different tech from our normal lady did our u/s yesterday. Everytime we have an u/s done by a different lady the measurements are off & there is a major decil in growth. Well, we can not measure baby for another 2 weeks..and she will probably already be born by then. So, we have to go by the u/s results. The u/s results said she is 4lbs 5 oz. So, my doctor is taking precautions.  Since there was a Huge Decil in growth & we are "below" 10% more then likely my placenta stopped providing her the proper nutrients it needs to grow in the womb or growth restriction (not enough space for her to properly grow inside the womb.  

My doctor is hoping that I will go into labor by myself since I am having contractions & already dialated.  So pray we go into labor by ourselves BUT preferably After This Saturday !!  My friend offered to take maternity photos for me this Saturday & I am really looking forward to having them done. =)

I have a feeling Rhiannon will be over 5 lbs.  But a 4 lb baby & a 5 lb baby is a big difference!  Will we need Preemie Clothes or Newborn? Which will I pack for the hospital? I may need to have my momma run to the store for me ;)

I *should* start packing my hospital bag...

ooohhhhh.....boy...or should I say girl!  What a long day!

Update

My dr called this morning (figured she would) since the baby appears to be below 10% from the ultrasound (u/s) results she wants me to come in for non stress tests (NST) for the next two weeks, twice a week, beginning today.

We cant have another u/s for at  least 2 weeks since we just have one (even though I think its off because a different tech did it not our normal one).

But, at least we don't have to go to Seattle for now! So that's a Praise!

10-22 Ultrasound

I am 35 weeks 4 days and Rhiannon is weighing 4lbs 5oz.

 At 35 weeks 6 days with Bud he weighed 5lb 4oz.

 It appears she is measuring smaller then bud. It also appears that we have stooped below 10% on growth. The ultrasound tech will be sending the report to my doctor. I have an appointment next week, but I am sure I will be hearing from her before then.

This was NOT what I was expecting/hoping for. When the ultrasound tech told me how much she was measuring it took everything to not burst into tears. I waited until I got into my car...

Bud saw me crying when I got home...this is what he said to me:

"Mom, Anna sick, God make her feel better. God make you & baby sister feel better too"

Out of the mouths of babes. Who would have thought I would find encouragement from my 3 year old son?! He reminded me to Trust God. Proverbs 3:5-6.

Baby Shower

Let me tell you-Baby girl showers are WAY different then baby boy showers! Totally NOT used to it! People want to see details &point out details on little girl clothes & accessories!

The photo of bud sleeping was taken Oct 11 at 12:34 exactly 3 years after he was born.

So  sweet.

I took him to Baby R Us  on his birthday. Did you know if you bring your child to their store sometime around their birthday they get a free birthday crown & balloon? Also, if you sign up for their birthday program they will send your children goodies! This year we received a $3 coupon on a min $3 purchase!
Buds birthday was on a Thursday, since Chris is on swings & had that friday off we decided to celebrate it then as a family.

We went & met his new doctor (Dr Caulkins) & had his yearly appointment. He did soo well! Everyone in the doctors office was so nice, great experience!

After his appointment we went to Winco and.........The Harley Davidson shop!

I don't know if Bud was more excited or Chris was more excited ;-)  we bought bud a motorcycle ;-)  a model one. Him & daddy put it together friday night while I was at baby girl's baby shower!

Saturday was spent preparing for buds motorcycle birthday party held on sunday!
It was a very busy weekend for us! Non stop from friday on.

Pinecones!

Sally, our puppy Loves Pinecones! Pretty much Everytime we take her for a walk, she brings back a pinecone to chew on! I think she likes them better then her treats!

Last week I asked bud to bring me a little piece of toilet paper to blow his nose, he brought me the piece on the left. I sent him back & told him to being me a bigger piece, he brings the piece on the right!

At least I know he knows the difference between-little & big!

Birthday boy!

Bud turned THREE last thursday Oct 11!

I tried to write up this post a week ago But I was tooo emotional!

1 year old-fine
2 years old-fine
3 years old-I cried!

Bud is 25lbs (5%) & 37in (45%).

Hard to believe our baby is 3!

Kingston Pumpkin Patch

Chris was off on monday, so we decided to go to Sunnyhill Farm!

The corn maze was 1.2mi, I'm assuming of you hit at the checkpoints spot on...

They also had pumpkin slingers, bud loved that! They had a little kid hay maze, that chris guided bud through. And a circle area full of trikes for kids to ride.

Their pumpkins were a little pricey, chris said it would be cheaper to get them at the grocery store, so we didn't buy any.

They had apple picking & walnut picking too!

They had horses, llamas & goats.

Nice little farm/pumpkin patch!

Bud was a very exhausted boy after this adventure-our plan worked ;-)

I was being asked for a new photo, this was me about a week ago at 33 weeks 1 day!

Sally

I swear this dog gets more sleep them me!!! Two modes-sleeping & hyper. Nothing inbetween.

She loves to wait for bud to get up...umm sometimes we have to boot her because she pounces trying to wake him up!

And never fails-when I'm working on a sewing project, folding clothes, our anytime I'm spring on the floor, she loves to be the center of attention & sit right in front of me or in my lap!

Chuckie Cheese!

A few weeks ago we took a trip to chuckie cheese-just because. We had left over coins from almost 3 years ago laying around & decided to go have some fun as a family!

I had a class at the pregnancy resource center ask I met up shortly after.

Bud dressed himself-I noticed his pants were on backwards!!!!!!  I didn't get a photo of that....chris said just go change his pants around! Lol

We got a total of 151 tickets! So bud got a few different things!

Wet had such a great time & there was hardly anyone there-another plus!

09/26 u/s

(a little bit behind on posts)

Had an u/s on wed sept 26 & on mon oct 1 I had a doctors appt.

Baby looks great overall. Growing at her own steady weight, still about a week behind on growth.

Me on the other hand, I am weeks behind tummy growth. Baby sits low so when they measure me I hardly have a tummy, I'm going to suggest to have her measure me while sitting up to see where I fall on the growth chart. Because I am soo small my doctor wants another u/s done. This one will be on Oct 22-1 month before the due date!

We had an u/s with bud one month before his due date & he measured about 5lbs 9oz. So, as long as this bday is over 5lbs I'll be happy!

Which, my doctor thinks this baby will be a little bit bigger then bud, but not much!

Simple fixes

A couple weeks ago Chris painted Our mailbox & put our name on the side of the mailbox-about time, we have only lived here for....about...6 mo ;-)  but he trimmed back the hedges so it bedded to be done!

Phew!

A few fridays ago (yes, I'm a little behind) I took Sally to her check up...NEVER AGAIN WILL I TAKE HER TO A VET BY MYSELF-WITH A CHILD!

Lets just say...I treated myself to Starbucks after HA

Sally got 3 shots, updated for the next year. The vet said she looks like she is about 4 months old! She has some yucky ear gunk so we got solution for that! 

Overall, pretty healthy pup!
