Kitchen

We moved into our house a little over a month ago, about 2 weeks later we started noticing a spot on the carpet...and it kept getting darker & the floor boards in the kitchen started becoming warped.  This had us interested & chris started the investigation....

What he found was the dishwasher was lagging water under the floor boards & the moisture was causing the boards to become warped.

we called our awesome AAA lady to ask what we should do, she got us on our way!

We find out that insurance is covering water damage/replacement!

So, they sent a company over lay monday through wednesday to remove water damage (aka gut our kitchen).

So, we have been without a kitchen since last wed! :-\

We are just waiting to hear from our insurance to see what needs to be done next!

Chris is figuring this won't be done in a couple of weeks...he is thinking it will be a couple of months before we have a kitchen.

That's been life in the Broxton House this past week.

Easter

We decorated eggs this year! It went a lot better this year, bud didnt eat a dye tablet! Daddy & him had a fun time decorating!

Then we made resurrection cookies! I recently found a recipe for resurrection rolls, I think we will be doing that one next year (think it will taste better).

For Easter this year we had our parents & siblings come over! For the past 3 1/2 years we have had over 40 holidays! We usually end up having 4-5 holidays for Each holiday traveling to different family members house! (VERY TIRING) Well, we told them once we get our own house, if they want to see us on holidays to come to our house (our house is big enough)!

We had an ultrasound to see exactly how far along we are.

Bud was SO excited to see his baby! He patiently waited to see baby. He was a little confused seeing the baby on the screen bc it did not really look like a baby. But, once they were printed up & daddy explained to bud that, that was his baby he was super excited!

I think he will enjoy the 20 week u/s More!

We are 6 weeks 5 days with a due date of Nov 28. Baby's heartbeat was 141!

Our first baby appt is on may 14!

I'm still little shocked that we are actually having another baby! Chris said BELIEVE IT! We have pictures that price it & we even saw the heart beating!!!

It will hit...eventually ;-)
