Wednesday Night..

We started our next study in Wednesday Night class on "Courting/Dating"! This is going to be such a neat study! I am excited about it and Im alreay married! This year is going to be so exciting, I have a hunch there are going to be many weddings! =D

Well...here is a sneak peak of what we learned...

today christopher went to clock on at work and the time clock said, "Employee Terminated" it is a LONG HUMEROUS story...!

well..today christopher applied at teletech...it took a LONG time for him to fill out the online profile application! im just praying that keyport will call him...soon...LOL

i started looking around for jobs...i want to fix my resume...but im still in the process of getting my name changed...and then i have to create a new email..or is it professional to have my email christopher and my email...? i just dont know...i would like to get a new job...but then again...i think i just have to be THANKFUL that i have a job and THANKFUL for the pay grade i have...it is $1.00 more then what i was making when i first started....i just dont know what i should do...ugh

updates..

okay...MANY people have been asking me about wedding pictures...i figured i would post something on here...i am still collecting wedding pictures...i already have over 300 photos...christopher and i still have to edit them and all that lovely stuff...so we did NOT forget about any of you... =D

now about the 'young' broxton family...there is a joke within the broxton family (that i created), since there is three broxton families at our church..here is a way i distinguish them: christopher and i are the 'young' broxton family, rj and janinne are the 'middle-aged' broxton family, and grandpa and grandma broxton are the 'old' broxton family!

christopher got news last friday that circuit city is closing for good (no there is no 'major' sales...i guess only 10% off) christopher was EXTREMELY calm about it...christopher then found out on saturday that he still has pay for 60 days...whatever that means...he was still calm. christopher is still waiting for a phone call from keyport to get his start date...so please continue to pray about that. he is going to start applying at other places...starting at teletech LOL...he is not a people person...please pray for the dan and jenny savage b/c dan also works at circuit city! God will watch over us, as he has in the past...we are excited for what God has in store for us...God has his perfect timing

I need..okay i dont need...i would like some recipes..I am thankful christopher and i have food...but i am SO sick of hamburger helper or anything with hamburger in it! LOL.. i have made roast beef, beef stew, fried chicken, baked chicken with rice and potatoes...but i just need some more ideas or recipes...i have to books... christopher has not complained once and says the cooking is great and so far i have not had a 'disaster-meal' (surprising..LOL)!

PLEASE...if you have recipes PLEASE post them...or email them to christopher.jeanne@hotmail.com i need..i mean would like recipes for desserts, main meals, small snacks..anything and everything...

exciting news...!!!

Both my mommies (Janelle and Rachel) are expecting!!! I am SO excited to have two new siblings added into my family!!! Pray for the babies and the mom's health!! Janelle is due in April and Rachel is due in August!!!

my friday

I had one of those mondays like Stephanie Olsen had last tuesday...but mine was on friday. as the day moved a long it got better! I got to spend time with my long lost twin sister, Aleshia Gray! I got off work at 2pm, she picked me up...and we went to my apartment! She watched a movie while i took a HOT shower to restart my day! Then we watched another movie together. I was getting a little bored...but i was not sure if Aleshia was just watching the movie b/c she was bored or if she actually really wanted to...so towards the end of the movie i bursted out loud, "IM BORED--LETS GET OUT OF HERE AND GO DO SOMETHING!!!" christopher and aleshia looked at me like i was crazy and just chuckled...! So finally Aleshia and I left...we went to walmart to look for a calculator for Aleshia's math class...i found some scrapbooking paper and stickers =D then around 6:30 pm we headed over over to Jamiee Sailing's SURPRISE Birthday Party! When Jamiee walked into her house everyone yelled, "SURPRISE!!!!" Poor Jamiee, im so surprised she did not go into labor =D LOL! I was not going to go b/c i just was not having a good day earlier. But i am REALLY glad i did! I got to catch up and talk to ladies at my church. It was really refreashing and it feels so good to be surounded by ladies who i can call my friends and ladies who are an encouragement and an example to me! I just love it! My friday night was so much funner then my normal friday nights...sitting on my couch, watching movies, and scrapbooking! LOL

School

Well...i am taking a 'light' load for school this quarter...only 3 credits at Olympic College. Normally I take around 18 credits...many of you may be asking...whats different...no money...stress...nope...christopher and i talked about my schooling...i did not have a very good last quarter. I am taking a 'break' or 'light' load to refresh and relax a little...to me...i seem like a bum! I love school...christopher and i joke saying i am going to be a life long student...the classes i am taking...Electronic Communications 2 credits and INTRO to Access 2007 1 credit. I think i jsut wore myself out...but i am ALMOST done...I CAN ALMOST REACH IT!!! but b/c of not having a reliable ride...i have to wait probably another year for my asscoiates degree...i was sad b/c of not being able to take my full load of school...but i am glad to have the break...and what made me EMTREMLY happy today was going to the book store and ONLY having to pay $10.00 for my school book!! YIPEEEE!!!! that is the cheapest book i have EVER paid for!!! today...christopher went to his technical drawing class...he was surprised that when he got into the class the teacher immedetly asked him for $103 for class material...our grocery money LOL...he could have gotton the supplies at walmart and staples for half the price but its okay...his book was supposed to be over $150.00 for this class...i went online and found it for under $40.00!! christopher was a lttle upset coming home and having to tell me about school materials he had o buy for school today. but its okay. like i said in previous posts...Everything Happens for a Reason...i think the reason why things did not work out this quarter for me to take my full load of classes at school is so that way i could be an encouragement to my husband (its his first quarter at Olympic College)...and personally i would rather be an encouragement to my husband then go to school!!

things going on...

Christopher and I decided that it would be best for us to find our puppy, Sugar a new home. We both LOVE Sugar to death, but we were not home enough to properly care for her, like she deserves, and living in an apartment, it just was not working out. The Greens happily took her. The Greens came over last wednesday after church to pick her items/food up. I was sad b/c sugar was like a child to me...sounds silly i know. It was the hardest thing to do. But I am also happy b/c the Greens have taken such good care of her before.

Christopher came home from work and gave me some money. He told me not to spend it on bills or food b/c this money was not in the budget...So I am creating a new can to put all my 'extra' money in it. I call it my scrapbooking money! I went to Target..in the Dollar Deal area they had scrapbooking items for $1.00! I was so excited! I got A LOT of scrapbook items for under $8.00!

I recieved a raise at work...I now make $10.00 an hour! I also am getting a bonus on this pay check!! woot woot. I thank God for this raise and the bonus that I recieved. God always seems to send things my way when he knows we need it the most!

Christopher started school on Jan 05, 2008. He is taking Human Relations in the Work Place and Technical Drawing. Christopher is taking classes at Olympic College b/c he was offered a job at Keyport. I believe he will be cleaning torpedos and getting paid more then what both him and I are making now. He had to fill out 16 forms! It took him close to 5 hours!! Now, Christopher is just waiting for the phone call to take some medical tests and get his start date! Praise the Lord!

The last few days I have been feeling a little under the weather. Christopher told me to go back to sleep. He came into the bedroom and brought me Oatmeal! It was the best Oatmeal I have ever tasted! Christopher even cleaned the house, did the dishes, and some laundry!

I FINALLY was able to finish Thank You cards from the wedding!! I felt VERY bad b/c nomally I am really quick at getting thank you cards out...but these ones seemed to NEVER end and with having to go to work, come home clean the house, make dinner, dishes, laundry...I just get so pooped out...fall a sleep...and wake up and say, "Man...I did not finish them yet!!" Maybe thats why God made me sick--so i would finish my Thank You cards =D

Today is Wednesday, Jan 07, 2008. (i think)--currently christopher and I am at Mom Rachel's house. Christopher needed to use the internet to install internet security on Grandpa Broxton's new laptop...so here i am...just sitting in Britney's room. Christopher is going to work today then going to school then going up to church. I think I am either sitting on my coach, watching movies and scrapbook (like i ALWAYS do when christopher is at work) or i am hanging out with my BFF Stephanie Young (christopher's cousin)! Stephanie only lives about 5 minutes away from our house! She is such a huge blessing to me! She is always calling me up, asking if i need anything or i want to go hang out. We have so much fun together hanging out. Her little boy, Caden, who is almost 2 on april fools (no joke) is such a sweetie...He calls me Aunt Ne'...and I guess he talks about me all the time! Stephanie calls me her sister b/c we were friends before christopher and i met...but then Christopher is her cousin and now christopher and i are married...o well...its jst crazy...we are all family eigther way so it doesnt really matter LOL

I have one major prayer request...Please Pray for a car for me...I need one that I can drive...not a stick shift..a normal car..my van's transmission went out and i have been with out a car for close to a month! I am unable to attend morning classes b/c I do not have reliable transportation to and from school/work. I may take a few online classes. But not sure...Instead of finishing my associates degree in June 2009...I have to wait another full year...the classes are only offered a certain quarters...since i cant take them this quarter, means I cant take my classes next quarter!


But...Everything Happens for a reason =D
