Lookie here...

Is this MY closet & craft room....floors you are actually seeing??!

After weeks...of not being able to see my closet floor you can finally see it!!!

I had to pull out all my clothes & try each one on. Sad to say most had to go in bins on 'vacation' as chris calls it..I called it retiring. Vacation sounds...a little better? Right? 

I pulled out my 2 maternity skirts & 2 maternity shirts I wore my last month & a half of pregnancy with bud...and they fit...I am about 3 mo away from my last month of pregnancy with this baby!

Since bud I have mostly bought stretchy waist skirts SO I should be set on skirts! I also bought sweaters that are button up, not pull overs sothey should fit! Great thinking, on my part! Planning for the future ;-)  The only thing I may need as we get closer to nov is shirts!

But, I feel much better going through everything & seeing that I DO have clothes to wear!

During the....process of going through clothes, chris walked in & said, 'i liked how the closet looked before you started going through your clothes...you know...out of sight out of mind...' yeah....it looked bad...but, needed to be done!

I am happy to say my craft room...still looks like how it does in the photo! But, that's probably because I haven't been in there to craft yet..... ;-) 

I would eventually like to pull up the nasty carpet & put hard flooring in there, makes finding needles easier...easier to clean up mess too! I would also like some shelves, a bookcase & a huge craft table in the center of the room!

But, that will all come in time...
Those are just my thoughts & goals for the future..for better organization & crafting!

Beautiful flowers

My neighbor two doors down brought me these beautiful flowers from her garden! This is the second neighbor lady I have met. She is so sweet & nice. Hope to get to know her better in the future!

Chris says he always sees her & her husband taking walks together...holding hands, young in love still!

Silly

From about 10 mo on my sister issa had been pushing bud around in this doll stroller....HE LOVES IT!

Umm..but I think he is getting a little too big for it, considering his bottom hits the floor & a tire fell off!

I don't know why he sits this way but he has been doing it for a while...

I guess im just happy he GOES in the potty so hasn't really corrected it yet ;-)

Growing?

This is what bud has been doing...A LOT. With a little eating here in there.  Usually, about one a year during these end of summer months he goes through a huge growth spurt!

The thought of buying bud 3T is bitter sweet!  I bought him a shirt last week, in thinking I should have bought him the next size up but 2T for him sooo well!

I just know someday soon he will wake up & none of his clothes will fit right!

Thankful for a growing healthy boy!

Now....if only this momma could sleep like that!!!! ;-)

22 weeks

We are 22 weeks today! Cannot believe how fast time is flying by!

Baby girl has really been growing since last friday! Mommy is really beginning to feel it!  My friend amber said she is deciding to prove that she Is bigger then what her brother was at this point ;-)

Baby girl also has a name...Rhiannon Rene'e

I was going to write this in a notebook but then thought, I have a blog! I use my blog as an online journal type thing, so when im working on scrapbooks or baby books I can look back & remember everything....and not have to worry about loosing the paper I wrote on!

We actually just decided to change the spelling of the middle name to Rene'e. 

Funny thing...chris asked me after he got home from Work if we were going to tell people the name we chose or wait..I said..well, I already told people. He said I was just checking because a lot of people are deciding to not share names...

I'll keep my opinions to myself about that ;-)

Bud can pronounce this name. Its So cute. The first time he said the name he looked up at us like why in the world are you having me say this name??! After seeing the confusion/questioning look, we said that is your baby sisters' name- his face lit up with excitement!

Long weekend

It started thursday night when chris got home at about 12am. Usually, he stays up to wind down...but he passed out on the couch...

Because....

friday morning....chris was up early to be prepared for the cabinets to arrive...any where from 730-1030 AM.

Fyi....If you are on swing shift.....You do not like hearing those times....

We received 23 boxes! Chris began unpacking the boxes to make sure we had everything & there was no damage. Then took a trip to lowes to get a few other things for installation for the next day.

Saturday morning came quickly...9am is when my brother, bro mandry (mostly to give chris confidence that he Was installing correctly) & chris began installing the cabinets in.. It took 12 hours from start to finish!

Boy.....are they beautiful!
Chris decided to make the island a movable island, instead of a stationary island!

The next step is flooring.
On thursday the lowes countertop people are coming to measure the countertop space. It should take up to two weeks for that to come in.

Then chris will do the plumbing in the kitchen & put the sink in (or maybe he is fixing the plumbing before the countertop arrives). We will see!

My husband is becoming a jack of all trades. He can add kitchen remodel to his list of skills...along with several other skills that go under that. So far, with some help from friends/family he had been able to do EVERYTHING in that kitchen, without ousting a professional (who would end up charging, an arm..leg..and a few other limbs)!

I am...Very impressed at my husband (and buds) Work! Bud just thinks its the coolest thing that dad & him built 'a house' ;-)

(the photos will probably be out of order, they always get out of order when posting from my phone. Our laptop currently went away to the geek squad for a few weeks, so I apologize I advance) ;-)

21 1/2 weeks

Can not believe it!
Lets see some simple facts....

Ive gained about 3lbs so far! Overallfeeling Great..not like buds pregnancy!

Experienced heartburn for the FIRST time....Ever. Dislike. Chris was nice enough to get me a tums & a glass of water!

I've had several more people say recently, 'You are showing now!' I do trend to wear 'baggier' clothes out & about & even around my house....usually a sweat pants & pull over..which hides the baby..

Even though I am...A Lot tinier then this baby, from the u/s this baby seems to be bigger (by a few oz) then what bud wad at this point! (yay) Baby girl is positioned A LOT lower then bud was!

If I stand up strait...I can't see my toes! With bud I was 18 weeks-ish..when I couldn't see my toes standing strait up!

The BIG question lately has been...'Do you have a named picked out?' The answer is.....NO! And NO, we are not 'keeping it a secret'...we really..have NO idea...really. But, once we figure it out...we will let everyone know....promise. Honestly....we aren't even close...

See..I like simple...easy to pernounce girl names, my dear husband likes girl names that are harder to pernounce.

Kitchen update-July 12

Received a phone call confirmation......OUR CABINETS ARE SCHEDULED TO ARRIVE TOMORROW MORNING JULY 13 FROM 730-10:30 AM!!!!!

Kitchen update-July 6

As of friday afternoon, July 6 with help from Daniel s the kitchen is completely painted!

Their started around 10, did the first coat, let dry, started texture, realized they needed more texture, ran to the store (to get fresh air while the rest of us were getting high from the fumes), came home finished the texture, watched an episode of myth busters (to come down from the high from the fumes & to allow texture to dry), then finished the final coat!

BEAUUUUUUUUTIFUL!

Recent project

This is chris's recent project. He took a little break from the kitchen & decided to build himself a Work bench in his room!

All the materials he used was left over from the kitchen tear down so he didn't have to go buy anything!

The top cabinets were the top cabinets in our kitchen that were still in good condition.

He said this project gave him practice for when he installs the new cabinets in our kitchen!

Pretty good job! Gives him more space & its a lot easier now to reload bullets!

U/S

Last monday July 2 we had our 'big' u/s! Everything looked well!

But, this past friday I received a phone call from AMI at the Silverdale Hospital saying my OB dr sent a referral for have another u/s done on the spine.

Well, hearing this I became very concerned.  How would you if you heard this?

But, I decided to Trust God & to not worry over it bc everything Did appear to be fine on the u/s we just had earlier in the week!

I received a phone call today from my OB nurse. She said baby looks great but my dr would like to have another u/s done bc the photos were not very clear. So, that was reassuring!

We had the u/s this late afternoon! Boy...OR should I Say GIRL She was Active!!!!

She was tugging on her umbilical cord, rolling around. She put her thumb on her nose & was wiggly her fingers. Her hands were over her face & on her nose. She was Very Photo-genic! The u/s tech Loved doing our u/s! I Loved 'seeing' her!

We also Got Double Confirmation once again that we ARE Having a GIRL! =D ;)

Kitchen update...july 5

As of today chris finished repairing sheet rock, mudding & sanding!

Tomorrow He is planning to begin  priming, texturing & painting!

Ohhh its going to look soooo nice!
He is preparing the kitchen right now so he can begin the next process! I hear him vacuuming right now..and wonder when I will be able to fall a sleep ;-)

You can tell chris worked today...by the mark he left on the couch! ;-)

Flight Museum

We went to the Fight Museum just outside Seattle, near Boeing! Tonight (or should I say last night) was Free First Thursday Admission from 5pm-9pm!! Since, chris actually had a night off, we decided to go.....for Free!

Bud Absolutely Had SO MUCH FUN! Planes Everywhere along With a few Rocket Ships...His eyes (and mouth) were going going...umm...they were Gone! So full of excitement!

Ohh..chris & bud are going to build an airplane in the back of our yard that looks similar to the little blue plane you see ;-)

4th of July

We went over to our family's house for bbq!  We usually spend the holidays with our family! We always have such a awesome time!

This year since 4th of July lamed on a wednesday, our wednesday night bible study class joined us! We had close to 70 people!

Great food, Fellowship, Study & An AwesomeGrand Finale Firework Show done mainly by my hubby & 2 of his buddies, Aj & Tony (ohh & my brother Ryan was here this year)! Its been kind of a tradition that on the 4th Of July we get together & they light fire works off! Their timing is perfect at lighting multiple fireworks off at once! Like I said...the Grand Finale was Amazing....AWESOME!

Last year bud held a sparkler, this year he wanted NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! He had a fun time playing with his cousins & the 2 younger morrison boys! He was..wiped out at the end of the day!

It was a beautiful day!

An answer to prayer..even though I am tiny baby is right on!

 I was a little nervous because I Am smaller with this one then what I was with Bud at this point.

I am 19 weeks 4 days & baby is measuring at 19 weeks 2 days! The u/s tech said that is Awesome!!! What a blessing!! 

Baby is 11 oz & has a heartbeat of 153!

Bud

Is now.....(hmm lost track after 2 1/2 yrs old)....lets see........(counting with fingers).....about a week & a half shy of 33 months...so 2 3/4 yrs old!!

He has been wearing underwear during the day for a couple months now. We still put a pull up in him at night, just in case, but he has woke up a few times dry!

He seems to be right around 25lbs! Woowhoo!!! About time ;-)  just has a fast metabolism like his momma. This boy can eat!!!

He Loves fruit & veggies (like always). He seems to love cucumbers & strawberries the most. But, rasberries, Bluberries, bananas, corn, carrots &broccoli is followed close behind!  Spaghetti seems to be his favorite food. But, Who doesn't like spaghetti?! He usually isn't a picky water, but we don't really give him an option to be picky ;-) well besides anything with rice in it bc it still does not go well..with him!

His favorite color seems to be yellow. He LOVES motorcycles! We were at a friends bday party & they had little bikes, so one of our other friends took bud for a ride, wasn't too sure about it at first, but he had a blast!!! His love has grown deeper ;-)

The photo of bud with all the books off the bookshelf, he did not do that alone, im pretty sure it wasn't his fault bc he has NEVER taken the books off the shelf like this before...you notice in the second photo he is putting them Back on the shelf...

He loves to help with chores around the house! Such a big helper!

Lately  he had been into building fires. The photo of the qtips is the first fire he made & the photo of him sitting at a desk with crayons...is the second fire he built....in the same day...in a mater of a few hours! Glad I caught it Before it was lit ;-) future boy scout in training!

He spotted a bike at baby r us/toy r us. I told him if he learned how to ride his trike he got, we may get him a bike for his b day! He LOVES to ride his trike with daddy! Can't believe my baby is big enough for a bike with training wheels!!!!

He loves his friends. Loves playing with them. He usually gets along with anyone...even emotional toddler girls! ;-)   He loves playing with his broxton cousins. I think its bc they are which...older boys = rough house ;-)  he loves to join in on the fun of fighting & what ever other trouble they get into ;-) 

We often see him trying to play with the older kids at church, but they seem to push bud away or ignore him bc he is 'small' we caught bud a few times wacking some boys with sticks trying to get their attention to play. Its better then wacking girls with sticks, daddy explained to him that girls don't like that...

He still loves music! I find a guitar at artco in tacoma. It send to be a kids learner guitar, pretty good price, so I picked it up for him.

He started blowing bubbles with his spit, that's a great milestone for a boy! ;-)

I love his sweet smile..his dimples & cute little grin. Just makes my days so much better!

Strawberries!

I have strawberries coming in on my strawberry plants!

Bud loves to go out & look at the strawberries to see if any are ready to pick (and eat)! They can not come in fast enough! Everytime we pick some...a little boy gobbles them up!

Chicka Chicka BOOM BOOM!

Last monday we took bud to a Chicka Chicka BOOM BOOM party at the bainbridge island library! Here is a photo of the crafts we did!

He loves this book, especially...the 'BOOM BOOM' part!
