Well my wonderful husband took me there this afternoon :-) The M&Ms were for him..this picture was taken before the m&ms turned my yummy vanilla frozen custard to...something that did not look appetizing (all the colors blended)!

Score!!!

I went to the library to pick up a few books I had on hold and they were having a book sale!!

I got these books for a total of $.75!!  Woowhoo!!!

Memories

A few nights ago my sister in law & her son slept over. This brought back memories from when bud was a newborn.

Although I am sad that we have not been blessed with another child, I am thankful for the 'break'. 

God's timing is Perfect, it has been a learning process each day to put bitterness away & to Trust God More each day.

I was looking through my phone, I noticed that I had several photos of bud........sleeping ! I thought I would share!

I swear this boy can sleep any where & every where! Its really funny!

Style

Here is a new hair style I decided to do today. I'm looking for new hair styles. I am having a little bit of problems because not that many people have naturally curley hair. Lets face it, some hair styles you can do with strait hair..does not work with curly hair.

I do not want to straiten my hair, people pay hundreds of dollars to have hair like mine!

so I am looking for some new hair styles. Maybe a cut or trim? Maybe hair care products? Any input...

Homeschool

This is what I call homeschool research (box is filled with info)! I started researching about 6 mo ago. After thinking...lingering..praying...talking.... I already have a pretty good idea what curriculum we are going to use & what we are planning on doing! I know, I know...I have a couple more years....but..hey...a little Less stress in the future :-)

Its been tough..lately (well for a while..)
My heart aches..as I hear news of people expecting...see ever growing bellies..then greet new babies..I'm not upset..at the news..its awesome and very exciting..I'm just sad bc I desire that..and its just not happening..every month gets harder..every day is a battle..to not become biter.

27 months

It is hard to believe bud is 2 years & 3 months old! Boy..does time fly by!!!

He had been on cow milk since christmas! He is doing awesome on it..But we recently discovered, he is sensitive to rice! We do believe he will eventually grow out of this one like he did the milk since he does the same thing with rice as he did with milk!

I just recently weighed him..our scale says 24.5lbs! Just in the past few weeks he had gained some weight!!! (woooowhoooo...its about time!!!)

He is doing REALLY WELL with going potty! I think we won't be needing to buy diapers, I actually think I bought our last box at costco last week! He had only been wearing diapers during nap & night time!! We are super proud of him! And as you can tell (by one of the photos below), he is proud of himself!

This is truly a FUN stage! We have been enjoying it! He has been sitting up stairs with us in church for the past month or so..he has been doing pretty well...he will sing (more like lead songs), pray..plate (offering)..pastor/preaching. He still has, moments..but what 2 year old doesn't?

Lately, when he gets into trouble, after we discipline, we ask him to go get his Bible, and we have been reading Eph 6:1. We have noticed a slight better attitude..hmmm who would have thought ;-)

Most people can not believe how old he is...how well behaved he is...people are amazed.  Our little boy already has a great testimony.

Just last week in costco, this last was at a sample table giving out blueberries. She offered some to bud & he took it & said thank you. She saps how old is he? 2. Then said wow he is so behaved!  what is his name? Obadiah! Do you know the meaning? Servant of God. Wow, what a great name, with a great making, unique but I like it! We do too, that's why we chose it! :-) 

We are excited about what God will do with our Obadiah.

It is all bitter sweet seeing him grow up...speaking of Bud...I hear him getting up..time to love on him!

Cute widdle nephew

A few weeks ago my sister in law gave birth to a precious [Big] baby boy! 9Lbs 2oz!! To see her hold her precious newborn for the first time...brought back memories from over 2 years ago when our boy was born..no words to describe the feelings..and wonder that occurs!

Anyways, my heart has been stolen..Again..by my sweet nephew.

A few days after he was born we went to walmart, I held my nephew & Bud held my hand and we walked through walmart. It was so precious.

Bud Loves his cousin, from the first day in the hospital bud has been protective of him. He loves to hold him & love on him, he so badly wants him to sit up next to him...but that will be....down the road...I have a feeling they will be great..buds. I think bud will be more of a brother to him..a very protective older brother..

I guess it is time..

Time to Announce....that we Found a Home!!!!!! Yes, We will be house owners soon! Chris is thinking by the end of Jan/Beginning of Feb we will be able to move in (at the latest)!!!!!

We have been in our apartment for 3 years, it is slowly falling apart, meanwhile the rent is raising....

So, we went & looked at some houses on our anniversary. The last house we viewed...we fell in love with. So, we decided to make an offer on it. The sellers declined our first offer. Well, we decided to look at a few other homes that we found online. Last Thursday we went & viewed them. We had 3 houses to view one in Poulsbo, one in Illahe & one in Port Orchard. After we viewed the one in Poulsbo, we asked to go to the original house we loved to have it fresh in our mind before we looked at the other 2 houses. We fell in love with that house all over again!!!! We left that house & went to Illahe & Port Orchard. The 3 houses we looked at that day were a little bit smaller then the original house but was about the same amount. The last 3 houses we viewed....were.....bad. We decided to make another offer on the original house, we thought it would be worth it to bump the offer up a little. We submitted it around 4 or 5 pm. We heard friday morning that the sellers accepted our offer!!!

We are so excited...to have our OWN house...OWN space...and no more smoke smell sneaking into my house =) well... kind of..the only smoke smell we should smell is...from the fire place =)

Today (monday) at 9 am is our inspection at our house to be! Hopefully, that goes well! Chris said, Usually they last 3 hours!!! wow!
