We stayed in a little room for about an hour and a half. Then, they admitted her! We have been playing the waiting game for the past few hours! The baby is S L O W L Y moving down! It shouldn't be much longer until I meet my new baby brother Jakob Andrew! I will keep you all updated!

A baby shower....!

I decided to have a 'late' baby shower for Janinne Broxton!

The baby shower is on April 04, 2009 at 11 o'clock in the morning at my house!
**Andrew will be wearing 9-12 months clothing very soon and is needing these sizes because a couple years ago these sizes were given away to a family in the church and then the clothes were passed along to other families**

I just wanted to make this crystal clear, I did not create this shower because of "selfishness" or anything like that, I decided to throw a 'late' shower because there is a need.

I will be handing out invites at church tomarrow for further info or you can contact me via cell/text (you all know my number) or in-person!

***Please RSVP (via phone/text/in person) by Wednesday, April 1, 2009***

Our first baby appointment!

Today we went in for our first baby appointment. I was SO SO SO nervous but EXTREMLY excited at the same time! So far baby is healthy! We did not get to hear the baby's heart beat (I was not too worried about that because Kristi Long has a doppler), BUT we did have an ultra sound! The doctor printed out 4 baby pictures and gave it to us! We saw the baby's heartbeat, the hands, feet, tummy, and head. The baby was punching, kicking, and moving around! It was very exciting!!!

**To all our Grandparents~We are making a copy of the pictures and sending them out to you =D **

new updates =D

Well, I figured I should post some updates, b/c i have gotton A LOT of calls/emails/textx/ect from many people!
Christopher started at Keyport this past monday (03/02/2009)-so far he LOVES it!
I am doing good! I am about 7 1/2 weeks prgnant--about 2/3 of the way through the first trimester...almost done with the "ALL-DAY" sickness!! Maybe..! I like to look at the sickness as a positive thing, in one of my many pragnancy books-statistics show that the more morning sickness a women has during pragnancy, the less likely chance of a misscarriage she will have!
What amazes me even more, is that at about 7 weeks the baby has a sex, we just are not able to see it on the ultra sound! God knows what sex it is, even before the baby is conceived! It just amazes me what God can do in a woman's body!
My first appoinment is on March 17, 2009!
My mother (Janelle), has not had her baby yet..she was having contractions on sunday night, the doctors told her to go home REST and DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!! So no new siblings born yet. BUT, I do have the wonderful privilage of being in the room when my sibling is born, and cutting the umbilicord, if the labor goes through smoothly!! I was a little scared when they first asked me, and declined it (just think about it--i will be gpong through this in about 6 months!) BUT i talked about is with my husband and thought about it on my own, and called my parents back and told them i would be in the room with them! I just told my mom to act tuff so i would not get scared! LOL
We had the Houston Family over this past Sunday, they asked what i was excited/scared about bringing this new baby into the world...i honestly could not reply. . i have been thinking about it...one thing that i am most excited about is that this baby is made of both chris and i. . and we have a wonderful opportunity to raise a child to glory God. . one thing i am most scared of, surprisinglym is not the labor or pain, but pur child growing up and rejecting God. I just pray that God will be with usm raising our new baby. The houston family also asked about some blessings going on--lately we have had TONS--we both have new member added in (in laws) who care about us, christopher got a good job, we will be meeting our two new siblings in the next year, and we have a new baby of our own! God is so amazing and good!
